Event Highlights

Opening Keynote Address
Dr. Tia McNair, President of SOVA Solutions, kicked off the conference with a powerful address on the importance of equity-driven leadership and strategies for transforming educational systems.

Plenary Speaker
Dr. Tammeil Gilkerson, Chancellor of the Peralta Community College District, delivered a compelling plenary session on authentic leadership, resilience, and leading through change.

Award Luncheon Speaker
Dr. Madonna Jackson, Vice President for Workforce and Economic Development at Mott Community College, captivated attendees during the awards luncheon, celebrating women’s achievements and sharing her journey as a trailblazer in higher education.

Live: Lead Like a Woman Panel
Moderated by Dr. Nicole Esposito, this dynamic panel brought together an inspiring group of leaders:

  • Dr. Monique Umphrey, President, Austin Community College
  • Dr. Jessica Howard, President, Chemeketa Community College
  • Dr. Daria J. Willis, President, Howard Community College

Each panelist shared unique perspectives and actionable insights on navigating leadership as women in higher education.
